TO ALL YNYS MON CLUBS

I’m sending this out to invite you all to an opportunity to canvas your club at the upcoming ‘Gwyl y Plant’ which is a open day for all the junior schools on the island to see what’s available to them on the island, this could be invaluable to you as a club for your recruitment for the upcoming season.
You will have access to proximately 750 children on the first day (Thursday2nd july)
and if you attract only a handful of new players then its a start to your recruitment program.

On the day I will be there and will be holding some SAQ and fun games for them and would gladly accept your involvement in the running of the day.

Please contact me with your views or comments regarding this un-miss- able opportunity for your Rugby Club

Some more info regarding the set up for the upcomiong junior provinsial games.
With the open session coming up on the 5th July , I have booked Menai bridge Leisure centre (Ysgol David Hughes) for the Friday 3rd to go over the criteria for selection on the day, this will also give us an opportunity to bounce some ideas on coaching styles and content for the day.

Please try and make this meeting or just let me know if you cant, I will supply refreshments for the meeting.
Please pass this to every coach that you know from junior to senior coaches.

After the resent successful coach education evening we have decided to hold a follow up ready for the forthcoming season, the topic will be GAME STRUCTURE in the modern game.

The session will be led by Tim Hore( Coach education manager for N.Wales) and assisted by Mark Roberts (Regional performance manager)
The session will be held at Caernarfon RFC on Monday 29th June and will start at 7pm

This will be a good opportunity to probe their knowledge for the benefit of the N.West clubs

More detailed information regarding the structure of the evening will follow.

Could we now start to look at possibly getting the first session up and running for the Teams.
I know we discussed not starting it until September but I feel that we might be pushing it if we leave it that late!!

I was thinking about 28th June ?
Then 26th July and 30th August Any Ideas?

I know that we need to get the U14 ready for the tournament on the 5th September (10s Tournament)
